Harpeth Consultant Advisory Group is now pleased to offer support services to individuals living with a memory impairment diagnosis, care consultations, assistance with residential facility placement, and memory impairment support group facilitation to organizations.
We recognize that caregivers can be overwhelmed as they are trying to navigate their new role; especially when dealing with a diagnosis of memory impairment (dementia, Alzheimer’s Disease, Parkinson’s Disease, Lewy Body Dementia, Frontotemporal Dementia, etc.) Understanding the resources that are available, what the disease progression will look like, determining what the best placement options are, and obtaining support for yourself can be difficult.
Providers may also need assistance with developing support groups and facilitating them properly to help meet the needs of their resident’s family members. Providing support services are essential for the caregiver, even after they have placed their loved one in a facility. The caregiver often still struggles with not only shifting from being a hands-on caregiver to now being an advocate for their loved one, but also how to move forward.
Below you will find the new service offerings from Harpeth and how they can be best utilized. Please note: these sessions can be performed IN-PERSON in the Northern Virginia and Greater Nashville, TN areas. All other areas, these can be performed REMOTELY via video-conference applications.
